For cameras to upload they must be assigned to a User in Halo Vault. Click on the ‘Cameras’ page within Vault and ensure that the camera is assigned to someone and isn’t labelled ‘Unassigned’. The camera must also be connected to wifi, the wifi icon on the camera should be White, not grey. If you utilise 4G, the 4G icon along with signal bars must be showing. If using a multi-dock charger, it must be connected to an ethernet port. If you're having trouble understanding the icons above, refer to the S2/S3 manuals located at the bottom of this page.
You can assign cameras in one of two ways, either individually on each camera on the 'Cameras' page or on the 'Teams' page within Vault. The 'Teams' page will allow you to create and assign new users, whereas the 'Cameras' page only allows you to assign existing users to a camera. Please see the ‘Adding Users Manual’ in the Manuals section of this page.
Depending configuration setup; 30 Hours Standby. 16 Hours Recording. 10 Hours 4G with continuous recording. The camera takes 4.5-6 Hours to fully charge.
All of our bodycam leases include a contract lifetime warranty, which means we will repair any faults that may arise with the camera in that time, This does not cover accidental damage such as the camera being dropped.
All footage recorded on the device is fully encrypted using AES256 Encryption, this means the footage isn’t viewable even if they were able to access the internal storage of the camera.
Only supervisors assigned to your pool can view the footage, you may be able to view your own footage but this is dependent on how your Vault access is setup.
Nope! Our camera is the only one in the market that allows uploading without the need to dock. It will automatically upload once within range of a wifi/4G connection. *Only applicable to wifi/4G connected cameras.
Only supervisors have the ability to edit/redact videos. This process is outlined in our ‘Vault User Manual’ located in the Manuals section of this page.
Absolutely! Halo Vault allows users to upload external media, whether this is required footage from an old BWC supplier, images or dashcam media, it all can be uploaded to Vault simply by clicking the ‘Upload’ button at the top of the Vault page. If you don’t see the upload button on your Vault just reach out to support@haloeurope.com and we can add it for you.
Yes! We are able to provide full Halo Vault training if this is something you think may benefit you, all of what we will go over is included in the ‘Vault User Manual’ but we would be happy to walk you through this ourselves.
Halo Vault is accessible on any browser, we recommend using Google Chrome for an optimum experience. Mobile access is also possible through a web browser.
The standard retention period for all standard pieces of footage is 30 days, as this is compliant with GDPR regulations. Footage marked as ‘evidential’ (Red flag beside it) will be kept indefinitely and won't be removed after 30 days.
Lightbox is our external sharing platform within Halo Vault, this is used for sharing assets with Police, Solicitors etc. There is a full section detailing this in our Vault User Manual.
Have you forgotten your password? If so you can use the ‘recover password’ button located on the Halo Vault login page. This will send a link to your email address with instructions on how to reset your password. For security reasons accounts are locked after 5 incorrect login attempts, if this happens an email will be sent to you and your account will be locked for 5 minutes.
Changing wifi or would like to add another wifi? WPS is the easiest way to do this if your router supports it. Please see the ‘WPS Manual’ located in the Manuals section. If you are not able to use WPS, contact support@haloeurope.com and they will either send out the new wifi configuration to your camera (Must be connected to an existing wifi for the camera to receive the update). If this isn’t possible a remote session may be required for the Support Team to add a new wifi network to your camera(s).
If you've received an error message saying 'This device may not suport correct playback of H.265 videos' your chosen broswer does not support it. Please use Google Chrome as your chosen browser for video playback with optimum peformance. If you insist on using Microsoft Edge, Please install the H.265 extension.
